Dr. Stephan Piazza is a maritime lawyer by profession warranted to practice law in front of the Superior Courts of Malta. He has a decade long experience working in one of Malta’s leading law firms and Big Four.
Stephan provides assistance in connection with the importation and tax compliance of luxury assets, registration of aircrafts and AOC application with the Civil Aviation Directorate at Transport Malta, advice upon the local and EU legal framework concerning drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles and is also able to provide support in aircraft financing transactions.
In addition to the above, Stephan also has extensive experience in the corporate and commercial law space having assisted several clients with the set-up of corporate vehicles and ongoing compliance.
He lectured ACCA students in the field of corporate law and has frequently contributed to a number of articles in both local and international journals.
He has also published a number of articles in both local and international journals. He collaborates with the University of Malta and the Malta College of Arts Science and Technology as an external examiner and has delivered lectures at the ELSA Malta Summer Law School.

Dr. Philip M. Magri is a lawyer warranted to practice in front of the Superior Courts of Malta with over 20 years experience in civil and commercial litigation including Constitutional law, property & inheritance law, family law, employment and trade disputes as well as private international law.
His practice encompasses several aspects of civil and commercial litigation, including asset recovery, insurance debt collection in the shipping and aviation industries as well as the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments. He regularly assists commercial clients in the drafting and review of agreements as well as employers and employees in the drafting and negotiation of employment contracts also within the context of employment and trade disputes.
His field of experience also extends to alternative dispute resolution. He has presided over numerous Boards, including the Small Claims Tribunal, in Malta and has regularly served as arbitrator in civil disputes.
